First of all, I would like to say that your clinic is very confortable. The feeling we have with the people, with the colours and specially with the staff, is very relaxing so I feel like I’m in my own country.

I'm a Tunisian doctor, I heard about ICO by my nearest friend Dr. Shirin Djavanmardi. She told me that the clinic was very nice and that the doctors were very good, perfectionists and specialised in different subspecialities. 

Some months ago, I sent to ICO one of my patients suffering an advanced diabetic retinopathy with bilateral cataracts. She was very happy with the treatments done: cataract surgery and intra-vitreal injections of special drugs to stop the evolution of the retinal ischemia. The retinal laser treatment was not the first solution for her.

She was very happy because she was really transformed from someone that has no vision with a difficult life to a person with a good vision and enjoying life again.

I have met Dr. David Andreu and I can say that he is a very good professional. Far from being a commercial doctor, he is really a good and honest professional and he is only practicing surgeries if you need it. I’m really proud of him.

So after the experience with this first patient, i came to Barcelona to meet Dr. Andreu in person and to visit my friend  Dr. Shirin, with another diabetic patient with vitreal hemorrhage . Again this patient is very happy with the results because surgery is not always the best solution.

Definitely Barcelona is a fantastic city. I love Barcelona and let me say that if it’s possible, one day i will buy an apartment here. The people, the weather, the food, everything is fantastic. I’ve visit a lot of countries and I’ve never seen this hospitality. I love it!
